The Holyoke St. Patrick’s 10K Road Race Held each year on St. Patrick's Day weekend, this event is one of the funnest races in New England. As the biggest running event in Western Massachusetts, this race attracts 7,000 plus registered runners. The competitive level of races is based on the current point levels of the top five ranked runners in the race. This is compared to the average point level of the top ten ranked world and then scaled on a scale of 0 to 1000 although it is possible with the scaling system being used, to exceed the 1000 point level.
